The Stewardess Barbie J4256 is part of the popular Barbie Fashion Model Collection (BFMC) and is made of a heavier material called silkstone. Only 3,900 of these dolls were issued worldwide.
This doll was designed by Robert Best and is one of the "working woman" dolls issued in 2006. This doll was a Japanese dealer exclusive.
Barbie's uniform is a tailored blue suit with white piping, cuffed sleeves and a knee length skirt. She also wears a white blouse with a bright red scarf. There is even a coordinating cap that sits atop her long red hair. Blue and white heels and dark hose complete the ensemble. Her accessories include a pair of "gold" hoop earrings, aviation wings lapel pin, and even a Barbie-sized "ticket/boarding pass" with envelope.
According to Mattel's tier system, this doll is a "Gold Label" collector doll. The doll has never been removed from the box and the box has been stored in a cardboard carton since purchase. Certificate of authenticity and doll stand are included in the box.
