Dulcissima Barbie ( Mattel Item # BCP82 ) was issued in 2014 as part of the Barbie Fashion Model Collection. The doll is made of a heavier material called silkstone and was designed by Robert Best.
Barbie wears a short black skirt and matching cape tied with a ribbon bow. Elaborate golden embroidery embellishes the skirt and boots. A lacy off-white blouse decorated with black bows completes this dramatic ensemble. Accessories include a brooch, black gloves and a coordinating purse. (The doll cannot actually hold the purse.)
According to Mattel's tier system, this doll is a "gold label" collector doll. The doll and accessories have never been removed from the box. Certificate of authenticity and doll stand are included in the box. The back of the box indicates that 8,700 of these dolls have been issued worldwide.
Stored in a smoke free and pet free environment.
