Chocolate Obsession Barbie ( Mattel Item # G8878 ) was issued in 2005 and is the first doll in the Flavor Obsession collection. This doll is scented with the smell of chocolate.
She is wearing a satin gown in shades of cocoa and brown. The front of the dress features a high slit in the skirt and a criss cross pattern on the bodice. A brown satin bow ties on the left side. The neckline and shoulders are highlighted with sheer fabric and a long wrap rests on her arms. The final touch is a pair of hoop earrings accented with long chains.
According to Mattel's tier system, this doll is a "silver label" collector doll. The doll has never been removed from the box. The box is a "cake box" style featuring a cardboard cover with clear plastic on the front.
